I am pretty open to methods of evangelism, but I am missing the biblical aspect here. What happened to Isaiah 55:11: "My word will not return to me empty without accomplishing what I desire" and together with that Romans 1:16: "I am not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" ?
The power is not in methods, but in the Gospel itself: That God became man to be the propitiation for our sins, so we can be forgiven and with God when we repent and put our trust in Jesus.

It doesn't matter whether I got saved yesterday and preach the Gospel on the street corner or go door to door today , or have been a genuine Christian for 5 decades and befriend someone and live the life - which we all should without a doubt, see James. God will use both people and both methods to fulfill his purpose.
